Farm Fresh Wedding Styled Shoot

Styled shoots are like playing dress up for weddings. So when Sarah McKenzie Photography and Recollection Vintage Rentals asked us to collaborate on this Farm Fresh Styled Shoot, how could a girl say no? With the three of our creative minds combined, we created a wedding style filled with fresh and organic details that made you feel right at home. Chicken + eggs were our main inspiration and we worked our way from there, incorporating it through invitations, decor, escort cards and more. From the darling family that lives on the Yonder Way Farm to the exceptional floral by Something Special in Flowers, and that dress -I could live in that dress by BHLDN, there is nothing I don't love about this styled shoot! Especially the team of vendors we got to work with -everyone involved was so talented in their craft and made this shoot such a work of art. To see our ideas being brought to life was more than words can express, but I have to say these photos surely do it justice.

And to top it off, the beauty below was featured on Style Me Pretty this morning! View the feature here, and the entire gallery here. Enjoy!

Country Casual Engagement Party

Happy Thursday! Today we're bringing you this charming, country casual engagement party for our clients, Meredith and Eric.

The couple met last year on Memorial weekend so it was only fitting that their engagment party was held the same weekend, as will their wedding next Memorial weekend 2013 in Napa Valley.

The party was centered around their love timeline: celebrating their past, present and future. We were inspired by a country staple, the mason jar, and incorporated it in the invitations, centerpieces, favors and guestbook. (Check out the oversized mason jar guestbook below!) The decor was casual and simple, but just enough to set it apart from your typical Memorial Day BBQ.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Trending Now 2012

Hello brides, bloggers and fans! We're back and ready to share our wealth of knowledge on wedding trends, bridal fashion and planning tips.

I'm sure many of you are wondering where we've been and why the cold shoulder with our blog? We haven't forgotten about you, we've been bettering ourselves for you! In the past months, we've been in the process of a major face lift for our company, website and blog. While our website is still under the knife, our blog will remain accessible and your source for current and trending topics on all things wedding.

Speaking of trending...our very own Danyett Baxter and Yvette Valdenegro recently collaborated with the lovely ladies of Mia Bridal Couture and hosted an open house showcasing the trending bridal styles in fashion, beauty and wedding design. We met many beautiful brides-to-be, saw the hottest bridal trends and networked with the finest wedding professionals in Houston! It was a smashing hit and we couldn't have done it without the help of our participating vendors. A big thank you to Terilyn and Koby Brown from Archetype Photography, Sarah Tucker Makeup Artistry, Mario Tort from Estilo Salon & Spa, Organic Tan, Acute Catering, Something Special in Flowers, Aztec Events and Rentals and especially Mia Bridal Couture for hosting the event at your beautiful boutique!
